vogue bathroom basin mxer tap

received a replacement valve for leaking bathroom basin mixer tap from supplier but no instruction came with it on how to fit. how do you get the handle off? or do you have to remove the whole tap from the basin to work on it from below? i dont want to damage it by prising from the top if this is not how to get in to the assembly

You simply remove the thing from the thing and lift the thing away, then unscrew the thing.

Let me guess:

Lift the lever - if you can't see anywhere to poke a screwdriver or allen key, prize out the blue/red disc and have a butchers
