Vokera 20/80 Flowmatic Boiler

Hi

I know this boiler is not made anymore, but does anyone know what the flow rate is?

We had a new Ferolli Falcon boiler fitted putting out 11 litres per minute of hot water and it is not performing as well as our old Vokera. The plumber has agreed to fit a new 14 litre Falcon, but I could do with finding out whether this is comparable to our old Vokera.

vokera 9.5 l/min.
the ferroli comes with a flow restrictor inbuilt, it's sometimes better to remove this and adjust the water flow at the boiler cold water inlet by installing an adjustable isolation valve. the flow restrictor may be slowing the water too much. Is the ferroli actually giving 11 l/min or is that just what you've read it should.

We haven't actually measured the output, but the plumber came back this morning and said he'd fit a Ferrolli Falcon 14 litre model. Does this seem like waste of time in the light of what you just said?

I'm a bit confused as to why the plumber agreed to fit a new one if there was an easier way to fix it?

i think it's your plumber who's confused. Until you measure the dhw flow rate you'll never have an answer.
