Can anyone give me any clues to the problem im having with this boiler. Im no gas fitter. The guy ive had out to have a look at it is not sure what the problem is. When the boiler is not being used the temp keeps creeping up, sometimes fairly fast and cuts out taking the pilot light out.This even happens during the night. Also if you,ve just used the hot water the temp does not seem to drop but if you turn the hot tap on again this seems to bring the temp back down. . Also there is a rattle when the hot water is turned on but not allways. Recently we had a new heat exchanger fitted and it seemed to work fine for a while
