Hi there intrepid technicians,I am a retired super yacht engineer ,and very used to trouble shooting minor problems,---HOWEVER---the vokera 24/96 R S E
flowmatic unit installed 1992,has been working fine until a couple of days ago,

It fires up 3 or 4 times on central heating, then stops at which time there is no domestic tap water, until the supply switch is turned off,at which time it repeats the process,-----any clues gratefully accepted ,with perhaps a gratuity if in order, many thanks, john,

although old these are great boilers, what it needs as some TLC and a full service by a real gas engineer who knows what he/she is doing, there will either be a prob with a flow switch or diaphragm, shouldn't cost too much

The hot water at the tap does not come on when the unit has shut down in answer to your question ---it only come on after the power supply has been turned of for a few seconds and turned back on again---thanks johnboy:

The hot water does not come on ,in answer to the question by PICASSO

without a lot more information I would hazard a guess at pump or diaphragm, as a basic check can you hear the fan running and the pump vibrating also what pressure does it say on the guage?

Hi Picasso ,The pump and fan are running, the pressure is 1.5 bar--?

if you look in front of the pump there is a plastic case with a micro switch inside, when you call for heat this micro switch should make and stay switched on while the pump is running, when the diaphragm goes it may switch but then open as the diaphragm weakens.

There is nothing in the Flowmatic that 'resets' when the power is turned off and then on. As has already been suggested, boiler needs a proper service as described in the manual.
