Vokera Compact 24 Hot water but no Central Heating

I have a Vokera Compact 24, have read through various posts on this site to try and figure out if this a simple problem that can be fixed.

I am getting hot water but no heating, the boiler fires on flashes the green light turns on and then off after a few attempts will fail and give the red light.

The strange thing is that if I have the hot water running for a while and turn on the heating at the same time I can then turn the hot water off and the heating continues to work. Turn it off and back on and it will not work.

I have read that it could be the pump, will test that later tonight when I get home.

Is there anything else it could be or anything else I should look out for?

I expect that it may be a simple gas setting problem.

But that needs a gas reg engineer to investigate and correct.

Thanks I thought it might be something like that, I will double check the pump fires up later. If so then I will see if someone can come and take a look.

Just wanted to make sure it wasn't something else that it could be.

Might be your pump sticking or the CH thermistor check the resistance from the CH thermistor when cold
