Hi all, Can someone please check my understanding of a hive single to my Vokera Excell 25 boiler please.

Image 1 is the boiler PCB and CN5 has the current thermostat and controller fitted.

Image 2 is the standard hive single channel.

My thoughts are as follows

N and L permanent on the hive to the switched 240v spur for power.

Hive 1 (common) and 3 (heating on) to CN5 on the boiler PCB. 2 and 4 not used.
Does it matter which way the wires go on CN5?

Is that right and if so do i also link permanent live and common on the hive or does that not matter.

If not any of the above can someone advise please.

Many thanks

The two cores currently taken into CN5 on the PCB remain unaltered and are now connected to terminals 1 and 3 in the Hive receiver. L and 1 in the Hive receiver should not be linked. Connect LNE of the Hive to the mains supply

Sorry just to confirm. Remove the current wires in CN5 and replace with 1 and 3.
Does it matter which way they go in CN5.

Noted re NOT linking.

Many thanks
