Hi.

I have asked husband to pressurise the boiler as he does every year nut this year it is not working and he does t understand why. He's determined to figure it out but has had to nip out for an emergency work call. That could be anywhere for 1-8 hours and I'm getting cold.

Could anyone help me?

I've turned both taps jut nothing is happening. Water comes out of both ends. Is this normal?

Would appreciate any help so I can heat my room.

If you remove the silver hose from both valves ,and open the lower valve ,water should flow out strongly. If you open the higher valve no water should flow out. Is that so ?

Lower valve does have water but it's a strong spray of water.
Upper valve has alot of water to the point I keep stopping it as I don't know if, when or if it should stop

Ok ,then both valves appear to be opening ok ,and water should enter the system to top up pressure. Re connect the hose and open both valves ,and listen for water flowing through the hose . Is the boiler not firing up at all ,even for domestic hot tap water?
