Vokera Excell 80 E Hot Water But No Heating

Hi, I have a Vokera Excell 80 E Combi that was working fine this morning then when the timer kicked in this evening - nothing. The hot water works fine but nothing else. I have checked the room thermostat and turned it down then back up until it clicks but still nothing, there are no warning lights and pressure is fine.

Hi, there's sod all on TV so here I am. So either the programmer is not telling the room stat that it needs to wam you up, or the room stat knows but is not telling the boiler, or the boiler knows but is feeling sick . How much happens when programmer is on constant & roomstat right up? Does pump or fan run? Any clicks/lights at all from boiler or any switches on front [can't remember what they're like].

Looks like it is something to do with the room stat. If I turn it up and down several times until I can hear something on the boiler ping it eventually fires up and is ok until I turn the stat down and I have to go through the same process again.
