Our combi boiler has a problem - when you turn on a hot water tap, the boiler switches on and provides hot water for about 30 secs-1 min and then switches off. Sometimes it comes back on again after 3-4 minutes, other times it doesn't come back at all until we switch off the tap and leave it for 20 mins. Turning the taps on and off doesn't seem to make any difference at this point. Can anyone offer any help as to why it may be doing this? - we live in a tennement block and the water supply is shared between several flats, so we thought it might be pressure related. However, it seems to do this at any time night or day, whether people are using water or not.
