Hi,not getting any dhw from boiler so changed diaphram, still nothing so put in new 3 port valve, still no hot water! Central heating works fine but have to put heating on just to get some hot water from taps, even then its warm not hot, anyone any ideas? Thanks in advance.

When you run the tap does the pin on the end of the 3 way valve come out and push the triple microswitch?

That sounds like a clue!

If the diaphragm is really Ok then the manifolf section is presumably seized up or just the thin pin section at the front.

Most people would have checked those parts for ease of movement when replacing the diaphragm, it saves time later.

I did! thought the pin was a bit stiff so replaced 3 way valve still having same problem.

Legfan, you can replace each item that you suspect as being defective or (cheaper option) get someone in to service the boiler.

My bet is you have not had the boiler serviced for a long time.

A word of caution though, beware of those with a duster who can service a boiler in 15/ 20 minutes without taking the cover off or accessing the combustion chamber.

Just had the gas engineer out, its the veturi or something that pushes the diaphram out he's getting part tomorrow. Boiler was serviced last year buy vokera agent when new fan fitted

Perhaps DP knows but I dont recognise that that might be.

The pin is pushed by the differential pressure across the diaphragm.
