can anyone help. I replaced a non return filling valve on my combi boiler but now the pressure keeps dropping. the valve isnt leaking but when I fill the system to 1 or 1.5 bar it is steady but when the heating is on it shoots up to over 3 bar. also when a hot tap is run the pressure drops and dissappears and the system locks out. Please help.

Unlikely to be the pressure vessel, but still check presence of air in the vessel. Vessels do fail on this boiler (occasionally).
Failing that, you need a callout to determine cause of malfunction, especially pressure loss when HW demanded. This should not happen.
