Vokera Maxin 24e

A problem has developed.

The large red button on the front keeps lighting up, and I have to push it to get the boiler going again. Also, the boiler seems to have a mind of it's own, coming on at strange times, when it's not supposed to.

Help!

That button can come on for several reasons. You will need to monitor exactly when it glows. The might be able to help you

type of boiler (do you have an "airing cupboard")

make / model of boiler

age of boiler

how long has it been doing this

has ANYTHING recently been changed

you can not get specific answers without specific questions

i had the same problem.replaced thermostat problem solved

Breezer, the boiler is a Vokera, model is Maxine 24e (says at the top)

Sproot, you said that you replaced thermostat and problem solved. Can you be more specific what you changed as this boiler does not have a capilary type thermostat. Boiler has electronic ignition and modulates the burner.
