Vw polo radio switches off when I put the lights on

I have a 2001 vw polo 1.4 petrol which has been a great car but recently had a few issues

1) vw standard radio turns itself off when I putt the lights on, found if I turn the interior dimmer switch right down the radio comes back on ?

2) secondly clutch is very stiff, gets stiffer during use, from what I have read its the pedal box but any advice would be appreciated

3) the epc light has come on - would changing the brake pedal switch fix this ?

First, pedal boxes shear apart on the clutch pedal. You need to get the garage to have a look, as if its not but a heavy pressure plate it will damage the pedal box anyway as there made of cheese, second, get the alternator checked under load, could be slipping belt or faulty regulator in the alternator.
