Hi,
We have a 3 years old walk in shower.
The silicone between the tiled floor and the tiled walls was getting black and we decided to change it. When we removed it the silicone was properly wet on its hidden side.
I would like to think that this is just water which had leaked under the tiles due to damaged silicone in some places but I am not sure. There are no cracks in the tiles or in the grout.
I tried to insert a bit of paper in the gaps and it comes out well wet, it won't be enough to dry it all. The kitchen ceiling which is located just under does not show any sign of leak or damp.
How will I dry all that before applying new silicone?
Thanks. Letty
