Wall crack help

Hi,

Ive never done any sort of DIY before and need to fill this crack in my bathroom. Can anyone tell me what need to fill it in?

Dig out.
Maybe a bit of PVA to bind and seal
Toupret powder filler. Probably take two goes as first fill will will need to set then go over again.
Do you have a old property with lime plaster?
