wall hung basin with bolts

hey is it ok for a wall hung basin, one with no pedestal to be fixing to the wall using just bolts.

Yes they are......so long as they can be screwed into something solid and stable!

Absolutely fine to use these, just ensure the bolts are fitted correctly.
So in a brick plastered wall, just ensure you use the correct size of masonry drill bit.
On a plasterboard stud partition wall, you'll need to cut the plasterboard & insert dwangs/noggins. A wide thick dwang is best & if it's too narrow it'll split. Minimum size 5x2".
