I'm planning to fit wall mounted bath filler to a stud wall (plywood, then tiled) I've bought the tap (It has two feeds). It does not come with a mounting plate and I would like to plumb it using flexi hoses not copper. Is there a standard rear mounting plate that I can buy? how would you recommend that I attach it?

These are quite often extas and have to be bought seperately

But can you buy a standard rear mounting plate? The tap manufacturer does not supply/ provide one even as an extra. Thanks!

You are not really planning to use flexiable hoses hidden in the wall are you??

How will you retplace them when they dederoate and start to leak?

you can buy an excellent plate from good plumbers merchants. designed for showers it will do exactly what you want and save a lot of hassle. Bristan manufacture it. Even comes with chrome pipe clips which hide your holes in tiles etc. Copper pipe to the plate inside the wall though!
