I have plasterboard wall here, i've determined that it's 600mm across from the left (which is the main outer wall with the window in my bedroom)
I have painted a sheet of MDF to size and plan to screw it to the wall and bought silver screw cups for cosmetic purposes, I plan to put a screw either sides perhaps 500mm from the top downwards to give some stability to the wall.
the issue I now have is trying to source fixtures which I can then fit the Z style wallmount for a SAMSUNG 32" smart TV - I have used a router to shave 3 lines downwards behind this peice of MDF for cables.
1x HDMI to my PC
1x figure 8 power cable (which is flat)
1x RF cable for digital TV
so now I have to think about the layers
I have 1x MDF then behind that plasterboard
I want to fix fittings that are quite safe for the weight (as we know when I pull out the TV it will be getting moved in and out) dont worry no kids so they wont be hanging from it lol
but I do want this to be as secure as possible so requesting advice on which fixtures may be best I can buy.
what would be my best option?
keeping in mind MDF I can pretty much tighten quite a bit, but if I was to use lets say the old fashioned butterfly style bolts it may eat into the plasterboard sheets when tightened? so im looking to see what the better option would be?
