Hello everyone,
I’m building a small ground floor extension with a 150mm cavity and a flat roof. The problem I’m having is fixing the wall plate in a straight run because my 150mm cavity wall is tieing in to a 100mm cavity wall. Will it be ok to just step the wall plate to the side on top of the 100mm cavity wall? So effectively starting a new run of wall plate offset on the thinner cavity. If that makes sense. lol
