Hi,

My 1920s home has a dormer window at the back and I want to install some blinds.

I assume its ok to drill and put in wall plugs at the sides next to the window.

Anything I should watch out for as it won't be brick behind the plaster.

Thanks.

Would I have one considering the age of the property? The dormer is original albeit with double glazing now. How can I avoid that? I'll be using standard brown wall plugs.

Can you not fix the blind within the frame? Otherwise drill and fix carefully

What’s by the construction ? Timber requires no drill or plugs.Fitting to frame would be first choice.
