Wallpaper Behind Night Storage Heater

I am walpapering a wall, after which a Night Storage Heater will be fixed to the wall...

Ist it safe to have wallpaper behind the heater or would that be a fire hazzard??

My experience is that the cabinets of storage heaters are insulated, and the casing only gets warm, nowhere near as hot as a radiator connected to a boiler does. Storage radiators emit the vast majority of their heat from the grille at the top.

Most storage heaters are installed in rooms that are already decorated. I've never known anyone scrape off the wallpaper behind before installing one. If it presented a danger, I'm sure the instructions would say so.
