Hi all.

I have just removed the wallpaper from my bathroom. 2 walls are platerboard and 2 are plaster on brick.

The plasterboard walls are nice and flat (obviously) but the plaster on the other walls is quite messy - lots of filler etc.

I want to avoid wallpapering if possible so can I paint all the walls and if the dodgy wall looks too messy just wallpaper over the paint to conceel the crap plaster? I'm concerned the wallpaper won't stick properly to the paint.

Cheers,

Chris

Hello,
I would not advise you to place wallpaper over paint.
Try making the plaster walls as flat and smooth as possible so that it can stick properly.I don't think it would take that long (of course this depends on the size of the wall) using a sander (manual or electric).
