Walnut flooring best way to fix to asphalt

Hello all , I need to fit 6"x3/4 solid walnut flooring to a asphalt subfloor , is it possible to acheive a good fix ? Can anyone reccomend glues & best procedure thanks in advance rob

Is it T&G? If so, have you considered floating it? I had an old cottage with an ashpalt floor and I put down T&G Oak as a floating floor on top of green fibre board underlay boards. It worked fine for me.
