I am gutting a groundfloor cloakroom and want to instal marble tile to wall and floor without skirting. Two walls are external stone built walls, no DPC visible (c1910 house) the other is internal brick wall. Will there be problems with plastering to the floor level. Should I use Hardibacker 6" up wall (as I have seen in one project on the Net). Any help appreciated.
