Customer reviews say bad product, people stop buying, company bankrupt.

Hmmmm. A lot of people don't use reviews. Good reviews, at least in my experience, can be, indeed some are, fakes (e.g. on Amazon), whereas bad reviews are just as likely to be about the package arriving 2 days late or being a colour that the "reviewer" doesn't like ("Ooh, pink paper wrapping - 1 star") as they are about the product being carp. Companies are known to use spam review "farms" to garner good reviews. I am beginning to think that you are perhaps a bit naive

I can only imagine you have poor judgement. This explains my exceptional luck. Maybe it wasn't luck, but I could tell a bad product when I saw one.
One of the worst product fails for me recently (last 12 months) was an ebay £5 chip frying basket. It was listed as stainless steel. Turned out it was zinc plated iron. The plating washed off in dishwasher. If I bought similar from china, it would be exactly as described. Cheap products in china have standards on a different level. Although I have not tried their 4TB SSD for £40. Risk felt too great.

You don't seem to have any imagination at all, hence your niave approach to life. I feel that you approach is like many a Brexiteer - denying anything which doesn't fit into you carefully crafted, if completely skewed, view of reality. Hence your arguments with just about anyone. It must be wonderful to live in Fantasy Land so detached from reality
I thought brexit was dumb in a world full of large world powers and blocks of powers. I have to argue if something is obviously wrong.
