WANTED... Fordham Flush Part....

Hi all, I have had a look on the internet for a part for my very old... no time to replace toilet.... the oblong flush part on the top of the cistern. It has broken, leaving just the upright post for me to push down.

Everything else works... just not very easy to flush with one finger (especially for my 4 year old)

anyone any ideas where i can get this part ?? Oh, i've tried LUNNS.net, couldn't see anything.

Ok, Ok, I just didn't want to buy unecessary parts - I would only end up throwing them away. We will be having new bathroom in a year or two.

Seems daft to buy stuff that I'm just going to throw away !!! And no its not the money - because I know its only £11 ish.

Any more ideas ?
