Warmcair warm air heating doesn’t work as expected

Iam having a johnson and starley warmcair c10d. Two problems i am facing.
1. The fan heating burner doesn’t start/work if i dont keep my thermista-stat to max. Does it need replacing ?
2. Even if keep modairflow to 9 the flame is just at its lowest and fan barely blows air. Again does this point to modair replacement ?
Appreciate if anyone can point in the right direction?

Warm air is a specialist area, lots of gas safe engineers these days will never have worked on them. The do carry risks that wet system boilers do not, you need to find an engineer that is experienced in warm air and get him to check it out.

Might be worth contacting JS to see if they can recommenced an engineer in your area.
