Hi,
I have recently purchased a new internal pine glazed door and after cutting it to size, I have noticed that it is warped. I can not take it back to the shop as I have modified the door.
Can you recommend any way to un-warp the door ? I have heard that laying it flat with pressure on the warped areas and hosing down will work. What are your thoughts on this ?
Thanks

i would suggest you say that the door was fine when you unwraped it
you cut it to size then two days later it had warped

you have always got to visualy check doors for warping
easy way is imagine a sheet of paper you look at the thin edge
you cant see any of the faces its flat and in line
if you can see any corners peeking up its warped

i find about 5% are warped and if the 90 people in front of
you have done there checking the last 10 doors will be 50/50

as for straitening for get it unless its got mortice and tennons
look at the top edge if its a strait line between the rails and the
styles [sides and top bits]it may be mortice and tennon

i personaly dont think it was fit for the purpose it was bought for
so take it back

big all
