Hi

My Beco washing machine (only 14 months old) does not stop filling with water during a wash cycle and so stops because it is overfull. Once turned off the water stops. The water can be pumped away fine

In case it is significant it is in a hardwater area

Please can anyone advise on possible causes and how this could be fixed - ideally DIY!

Is it worth trying a cleaning product in case the float is stuck or limescale - soda crystals?

Thanks in anticipation
Simon

Check the pressure switch (normally at the top looks like a round or oval disc with a thin hose attached)
Make sure the hose is not damaged or disconnected
Disconnect hose carefully and blow down it to check if it is blocked.

Make sure machine is off first
