I need to install my washing machine in the garage, which will mean running piping outside the house approx 15feet. Shall I use this new flexible hose, and how do I protect against frost etc.
Also can I connect output hose to nearby sewage drain.

Thanks for reply
Another idea....can I run just the cold supply pipe out and then feed this into both hot and cold inlets on the w/mc.
And return the waste water through another mdpe pipe back to the existing waste water trap, located in the house.

Why not?
Personally, I'd fit a stopcock just before it goes outside. That way, in the event of a calamity, you can issolate it to carry out repairs. I would also endevour (if practical) to bury the bulk of it about 2ft below ground level. This would protect it from frost, or accidental damage, and creat less of an eye sore.

Any part of it above ground level should be lagged.

What do you mean by a sewage drain? If you are talking about a soil stack, then the easiest fitting to do the job, is probably, a 40mm strap on boss. If you are talking about an inspection chamber, your best bet would probably be to fit a gulley, just outside your garage and run it's output into the watercourse at the inspection chamber.

New connections to drains such as stack pipes need building control approval.
