Our Zanussi washing machine conditioner tray is not emptying as the holes above where the water sprays through are constantly getting blocked.
Poke something in the holes now and then to clear it but that only fixes it for a few washes.
Looks like a build up of black gunk around those holes on the inside that results in flowing through to block them.
Looks like stripping it apart might be a bit involved but open to suggestions there.
Any ideas on how to resolve this or better cleaning techniques to clear it?
Thanks in advance

Don't know which model you have but normally removing the detergent/conditioner draw is a simple matter of squeezing the clip at the top once you have pulled it out. You can then easily dismantle the drawer and wash it out in hot soapy water. A small round brush will get into any holes. Check your user guide for instructions or download a new one if you have lost it.

Thank you but I can get the drawer out.
It's the holes that are in the machine in the top part of the cavity where the drawer is from that is blocked.

The entire top of the machine, should be fairly easy to remove, usually a couple of screws at the back edge, then the entire top slides forward and off. You should then be able to extract the entire fill compartment, and investigate it further.

Black is mould , clean with vinegar and baking soda, then leave draw open when not in use.
