Washing machine death

Our WM drum has been making a hell of a noise recently. Ever since i moved the machine in the cupboard area due to building works.

Now the drum is very stiff when you turn it.

Is this the bearings ?

IT has done really well so think it is time to just replace. I think i have had it for 12-14 years.

Its a hotpoint ultima 7kg.

Am thinking about buying an ebac as UK made.

Any recommendations in the £300-500 area ?

I thought you meant somebofy had been killed by a washing machine

if it rattles a lot it could be something trapped in between the drum and casing
does the drum feel loose

Yes a bit looser, but the last wash yesterday didn't complete properly. I don't think it went into spin.

Just checked notes and it is 11 1/2 y/o.

Looking at Ebac washing machine as a replacement. UK made.

Any good ???

i have seen these reviews, but all the bad ones are for the dehumidifiers i think.

Washers are a new area.

The more expensive EBAC washers (£500 - 530) come with a 10 year warranty.

Ended up going with a bosch as they had more info about wash times. Not a lot of detailed info on the ebac site.
