Washing machine dispenser draw full of water

Washing machines and me just don’t get on!
Got a new Bosch and when washing cycle finishes the softener dispenser draw is full of water even though I don’t use that draw.
Any ideas what the problem is please?

mine (Bosch) does that and always has - now over 2 years old. I just ignore it - everything else is fine

Probably clogged up with old soap powder or softener. You can take the drawer out (it may have a retaining clip) and wash it in very hot water. The softener compartment is made in several pieces, you should be able to lift the top off it and see a couple of bits of pipe that syphon the softener out. these are prone to block.
