Washing machine door interlock

Hi, Im looking for some help!!! I changed a burnt out door interlock switch on my sisters hotpoint machine for exactly the same type. Still no joy. Power going to live side but doesn't seem to switch to common when operated. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Model number. If its a Wm 51 52 62.64 etc check pcb for a blown track.

Thanks rocks 1. will try tomorrow. Do you know how easy it is to remove pcb? Also how do i repair a track? Model is wm 52.

Pull out the dispenser and remove the 3 screws then consol panel pulls off. The 2 screws for the timer , then remove the first black block on the timer it will be burnt. Then just solder a new link wire from a piece of old wire
