I just replaced the washer that was installed when we purchased our home.
Our previous washer had the drain hose exit at the top of the unit (although it did route upwards inside the washer).
Our new washer has the drain hose exiting at the bottom of the unit. There was a plastic clip holding the hose in placed at a height ~65mm from the floor but I removed that…. Mainly as I am routing this via the existing route: along 1m of floor and then up into the undersink space to terminate into one of the waste pipes.
The instructions just mention that for this type of drainage the termination mist be min 65cm and max 100cm - which it is under the sink.
Should I expect any problems with the installation as described?
