washing machine drum has dropped

Hi All

Hoping that someone could please offer some advise.

My WAE18060AU/11's drum has dropped inside the plastic inner shell.

How do you remove the drum to inspect why this issue is happening, or is it worthwhile spending the time on it?

Providing you don't have a sentimental attachment to the machine & it is more than 2-3 years old forget it & buy a new one. The very least you will escape with is a god awful job, bearing set, & modified shock absorbers. In the worst event you may also have to change the spider/drum. It just isn't worth it
