Recently my 7 year old Hotpoint WMA42 has started making a loud heavy rumble when in the spin cycle, I suspect it is the drum bearing. On checking out this forum on the replacement of such I have come to the conclusion that I have neither the tools nor the expertise to effect such a repair. As it has provided such valiant service I would like to replace it with a more or less equivalent machine. The main characteristics the replacement must have must have are
Spin Speed approx 1100 rpm
Fast Wash facility
(and here comes the crunch) it must be coloured fawn or cream or a similar colour .
Please can anyone give me advice?
