Hi,
Put the Washing Machine on a programme today, then there was a popping sound (like a tin falling from a cupboard) followed by a slight smell.
After this the washing machine programme dial just clicked round fairly fast whilst making a funny clicking noise.
Now, I've been playing around, and the programme dial will turn round quite quickly (lot quicker than if it was actually doing the cycle), however water will come into the drum fine and be drained off OK when the programme dial hits the relevant places, however the drum does not move.
I can turn the drum by hand and in my mind it still has the same resistance it had before.
Any ideas anyone?
Does it sound like the motor?
Cheers
