2001 Bosch 245 Washing Machine leaving mottled bleach type marks on coloured dark clothes all of a sudden. Presently use calgon alongside Persil biological washing powder at 30º. Anybody any ideas as to what could be causing it and what remedy, if any, there is? Thanks in advance.

might be an accumulation of soap powder. happens a lot if you only do low temperature washes and are overgenerous with powder. Do the specks dissolve when you sponge them?
Put the next batch of cotton towels in, with no powder, on a hot wash, and see if it finds enough soap inside to wash them.
Also take out the soap drawer and scrub the drawer, and the slot it fits into, with hot water.

The clothing is actually being left as if bleached in patches! I guess I should just use calgon with no clothes and see if that makes a difference going forward.
