Washing machine not rinsing properly

Hi, guys.
We have a Zanussi Acquacycle 1250.
Recently it's been leaving white powdery deposits on the clothes. Presumably traces of the washing powder.
Have checked the tray to make sure that's not clogged and both hot & cold entry valves but the problem persists.
Any suggestions please?

do a hot wash with white vinegar several times .also pull the door seal back a bit and look at the gunge behind it .
