Washing machine on Vinyl or concrete floor ?

We currently have a vinyl floor that extends to the back wall under the kitchen units.

Is it best to cut the vinyl back so the washing machine and tumble dryer sit on concrete ? Or will it be fine on the vinyl?

OP,
It will be fine to leave the vinyl intact. Dont cut it.

Is the Vinyl loose laid or glued down?

I lifted machines then used hardboard strips under to slide machine out when on vinyl flooring. It can damage easy but as above. Run flooring under machine
