Morning all

Someone has offered me an AEG washer dryer, but it hasn't got any transit bolts + the pump cover is missing. It's unused but has been returned to the seller (has dents + scratches etc)

Now I'm not worried about the transit bolts, but what is a pump cover + is it a problem if it is missing?

Any suggestions would be appreciated - cheers

Best to ask the person, because, it is probably the cover on the machine casing which is purely cosmetic but comes off to give you access to the pump. But, many pumps also give you access to their innards by a removable cover on the pump itself (obviously rendering the pump useless when its removed). If its being offered as 'working' then it will just be the machine casing cover.
