hope someone can help me...my whirlpool top loading washing machine filled up tonight and stopped. when i try to put in on anything it just makes a noise. like weird humming noise, like it wants to run but won't.
If you set it to drain does it drain?
If not the motors not running. Possibly a capacitor (attached to the side of the motor) or the motor itself.
If it does drain then likely the plastic coupling from motor to gearbox has broken.
