Washing machine tap

I wonder if someone can help, please.

There are two valves/taps - one is for hot and one for cold - the cold water has washing machine hose attached and the hot has nothing attached but the hot has started dripping. And I don't know why.

Do you mean one of these is leaking? http://www.ondemandsupplies.co.uk/products/15mm-x-3{47}4"-Straight-Washing-Machine-Valve.html It either is not turned off properly or the ball valve is starting to leak.Have a bucket handy when you start looking at it ( turn it on & off quickly a couple of times).
