I want to plumb my Washer Dryer in and would like to know if there would be any problems putting the waste into a 40mm standpipe with trap and then reduce to 32mm to connect under a sink.
Thanks in advance
Dave
Physically you can do this, but how well it will work it depends on now much flow you expect the 32mm pipe to take, how long the run of pipe will be, and what the fall is.
A question: why is there 32mm pipework under a sink, given that it should be 40mm?
