Waste pipe and soil pipe

Dear all
My builder installed drainage at my outbuilding with waste pipe and soil pipe but smell is coming out somewhere. He is not reach able. Been calling and I am tired. Please I need advice of what to do to rectify it. I cannot see any leakages yet.

Joint from ground to black soil pipe look crooked, likely to be a source of any smell .

Dribble some water around the top of the joints if it drains away then seal has not been made .
