Hi
started replacing a old shower in my en suite prepared the area and was about to start building the plinth when I thought I should check the waste pipe.
now my problem is the waste pipe has no drop in it at all and emptys slowly when I pour water down it,it runs under the floor and im guessing joins to the waste running down from the sink the waste pipe also sags slightly in the middle.
The waste pipe also doesn't drain completely and when I use a tap in the sink the waterlevel raises and drops a little.
Do I need to replace this waste pipe if so any advice and as much detail as possible on what I need to do would be greatly appreciated
Thank you

If it were me I'd be running the shower waste pipe in 40 or even 50mm, getting rid of the sag and, if possible, introducing a fall. Beyond where the basin and shower waste pipes join I'd definitely be using 50mm.

I'd possibly consider a non-return valve on the shower waste pipe unless a decent fall can be introduced.
