We live right on the coast with strong winds blowing heavy rain against the house. The house is built of cobbles of different sizes (jointed with lime mortar) and a 1950s extension of concrete bock and cement mortar. All the outside walls are wet dashed (small beach pebbles about 6mm mixed into a cement render and thrown onto the outside walls). All this is painted with exterior paint.
Problem is, the rain still finds a way in, probably through tiny pin holes.
Can't afford to re-render the house and Im wondering if a paint or spray on water proofer might do the trick. It will have to be paint-over-able.
What can you suggest?
Thanks in advance. Cheers.
