Water coming through Bargeboard

I have rain coming down my Bargeboard and coming out the bottom of the box end on the gable wall. The water is coming through the bottom of the box end, see picture there are two openings at the bottom. Can’t find any damp in the house so far.
Grateful for any advice, should I get someone to look at it.

Look up by the ridge or at joints in the plastic
