Last winter I had a problem where water was coming through the tiles at the end of my roof as the mortar has shrunk over the years and made cracks. The water damage was very bad, it run down the inside of the outer red brick (Which has been painted with weathershield paint). It travelled across to the inner wall via wall tiles etc and socked the walls, which inturn damaged wall units in the kitchen and deco in my living room and bedrooms. Since then I had a builder in who replaced the tiles , battens, then put on a dry verge.

A new kitchen then went in, but now to my shock when the winds and rain came so did the same old problem and the more the rain is driven by the wind the worse it is. My walls again are wet in side.

The dry verge have two joining pieces as I can see, as the original pieces were not long enough. As there is only the plastic verge on around the tile area do you it may be traveling under it.

You help would be appreciated as I am yet to see the builder as it not the weather to be doing roofs at the moment.

Also what is the best was to dry the wall which will minimalise on water damage to my deco and kitchen, whether a dehumidifier or heaters, etc.

there seems to be an intrinsic problem here that is not being addressed.

any photo's?

Sorry for not getting back, but I have been told it is my bricks letting the water in, so at the moment I'm having it sprayed, which should stop any water coming in for the short term. we will see. Thanks again

Double leaf bricks won't let water in. If they did we'd all have wet walls.
I lived in a house with single leaf when I was a kid and that never leaked.

Check your guttering. The usual problem is that the guttering is lower at the back than the front so water cascades out the back, down past the wall plate and down the cavity - wetting everything in the process.
